Some fireworks scenes from the 4th of July weekend. Most events were rain or fogged out, but we happened to catch a nice fireworks display on Firday night.
FHS Copper Top
The copper topped Fairhaven High School in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. This school was the last public building built and donated by Henry Huttleston Rogers.
Mayflower II
I attempted to photograph this ship once before, over the winter when it was dry docked in town, but was turned away. It’s not the original Mayflower (which would be almost 400 years old now) but it’s a very accurate reproduction. It also lives a few hundred yards from Plymouth Rock in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
The photo is actually a composite of three vertical wide angle shots put together using Autostitch.
57 Shoot
I got to do a small shoot for (hopefully) a local publication that includes antique cars from the area. I was hoping to shoot in the late afternoon for the low sunlight effect, but had to work with the early morning sunrise instead. It went pretty well for what little time I had to get the shoot done. It’s tough finding decent locations to shoot around here, that was the only downfall.
