…at the speed, of light.
Sometimes, experimentation happens out of boredom.
The photo above was not exactly what I was looking for, it was a bit of an accident. The “UFOs” were caused by the reflection of sodium lights just below the three peaks at the bottom of the photo. I was mainly trying to get a decent shot of the steeple with the crescent moon in the background, but as luck would have it, this one wound up coming out the best exposure and clarity-wise…so here it is.
…in full moon’s light.
A long exposure taken during a full moon in order to simulate daylight. The photo was originally taken for a JPG Magazine photo contest called “Dreamscapes”.
I am not sure what the ship’s name is in reference to, but most ships at this particualar port are of Norwegian origin. Most are still active, though, due to recent regulations, there are quite a few vessels that are sitting here, rusting away. I am also told that one of the neighboring ships to the Zibet was recently part of a show on the Discovery Channel called “Deadliest Catch”, though I can’t seem to find which ship it was.
Looking up at the Space Needle from the main entryway.
