I guess I never understood the stress part of it, or why people find themselves to be of more importance than the next person.  To top it, I think that the whole &#8220;Black Friday&#8221; and &#8220;Doorbuster&#8221; thing really adds to the problem.   I wonder if parents brag to their children about what they went through to get them there this year&#8217;s gifts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I had to trample 2 old ladies to get you that *insert this year&#8217;s hot toy*&#8230;you should be grateful&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It seems that most people are trying to satisfy themselves rather than the needs of those they are actually buying gifts for.<\/p>\n<p>The whole thing makes me feel a little ill to think about.<\/p>\n<p>Tis&#8217; the season indeed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s that time of year again, where everyone is in a rush, and the stress levels are high, even though it is supposed to be the season of giving and caring.
