Checked out the International Auto Show in Providence, RI this weekend. If it’s any indication of the direction that the American automotive industry is going, it will be another sour year. Hybrid vehicles that clock in at 20mpg and the return of the gas guzzling muscle car were the highlights. Granted, some of them looked great, but there was nothing much to right home about. I stuck mostly to checking out the classic cars, at least there was some originality there.
Ornate
Taken at a local car show, I was only able to get in a few minutes of shooting before it wrapped up, I am hoping to catch the next one in a week or so, I’d like to do a walk through and shoot just the finer details, ornaments, and old emblems of the antique cars, something that’s often overlooked when viewing them.
Curvette
I’ve found a sweet-spot time of day that I like for lighting, just need to focus on some subject matter for shooting in it. I was ill prepared for this one, but love the look, light, and coloring, and hope to use it to my advantage next time.
